Adrenaline vs. Coffee - who comes out on top in the morning?

Adrenaline - How achieved.

Riding motorcycle over thin icy patch where cars have gone through a larger puddle, then the thin layer created by the splatter has frozen in the tire tracks - Wellington Crescent.

Coffee - How achieved.
Put Mug under dispenser and depress lever

Results:
The adrenaline was an immediate rush. In fact, it started when you saw the slick patch and realized it was too late to avoid it. It then intensified as the bike swerved and got really light.. Instictively your legs reach out, ready to balance the unsettled bike should it slip out from under you. Eyes get really big and breathing increases. Once out of the danger zone (in this case, the dry area between the tire tracks), the body tingles, you feel really tired and the bile jumps up to tickle the back of your throat. You want to lie down and have a nap.

The coffee takes a little longer to act. It's more of a constant, mellow high. Gets you up, and you stay up for a few hours. No sickness, in fact there is a craving for more.


Conclusion>
In terms of a wake-up call, the adrenaline performed best. It can best be simulated by having symbols crashed together while you are in a deep sleep. However, if you have duties to perform and need to concentrate for extended periods, the coffee is better suited in that task.
